Jane Pierce - Convenor Jefferson County 205-592-0356 Jane Pierce received her BA in Religious studies from the University of the South in Sewanee and is a certified EFM mentor. She serves the altar at St. Luke's in Birmingham as chalice bearer and has been an associate of St. Mary's Convent since 1998. Jane has been a family advocate spokesperson for the Alliance for the Mentally Ill. She was a student of architecture at Auburn, has worked as a drafter/designer and served the executive board of the American Design Drafting Association. Ben Porter - Treasurer Tuscaloosa County 205-759-4538 Ben Porter, an active member since our chapter was chartered, has been a member of Tuscaloosa’s Canterbury Episcopal Church since 1975. He sings in the choir there and is active in the Cursillo community. Ben is a past board member who strongly believes in the chapter’s mission to serve as a vehicle for LGBT community to know the church and for the church to know the community. He is a retired state employee. His partner is Dr. J.E. Keeton, a retired Tuscaloosa psychiatrist. |

Jefferson County 205-290-6862 John Stanley Rich, a native of Birmingham and Tuscaloosa, recently retired from 37 years of teaching university-level English language and literature, at Stillman College, The University of Alabama, and The University of South Carolina Aiken. In 1974 he was one of the original founding members of Integrity. He now lives in Homewood, Alabama, and sings in The Magic City Men's Chorus. |

Sally Smith - Secretary Shelby County 205-665-7005 Sarah (Sally) Smith is a native of Birmingham and professor of Deaf Education at the University of Montevallo for more than 30 years. In 2007 she received the Equality Alabama Ally Award. She lives in Montevallo and is a long-time member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church where she has been active as Vestry member, Senior Warden, Altar Guild, EFM Mentor, Children and Adult Christian Education Teacher, LEM, Lay Reader and Crucifer. |

The Reverend Mary Vandagriff, Deacon Jefferson County 205-942-2817 Chaplain of Integrity of Alabama James Wilson - Co-Convenor St Clair County 205-381-0175 James Wilson is an active member of the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, Leeds, where he sings in the choir, and is active as a LEM, and Lay Reader. He is currently in his second year of EFM. He is the father of two and grandfather of one. James and his partner John Ruziskey have been together 19 years. Walker County 205-648-0452 Alan volunteered for the 1917 Clinic for 8 years, Birmingham AIDS Outreach for 5 years, and served on the AIDS Alabama board for 3 years. He has also served on the Episcopal AIDS task force for 20 years. Alan is involved in the HeartSong retreats here in Alabama, and helps organize Kanuga retreat for Province IV AIDS ministries. Alan’s work with the Walker Community Theatre has kept him busy for over 10 years. He attends St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Jasper with his partner. |
